Hello Spring [April Fools]

I can’t believe that April is finally here! However, it doesn’t feel like spring just yet here in the mountains. Anyone else ready for warm weather?

While waiting on the warm weather I have enjoyed getting out the spring décor! Easter/spring décor bring in those warm colors that says summer is on its way!

I was excited to finally use my Rae Dunn Easter pieces that I have been collecting for years. I had so much fun incorporating these pieces throughout the kitchen and dining room. It feels so good to be settled into our house and decorating with pieces that I have been holding onto for years. I especially love this tablescape using china that belonged to Andy’s grandmother along with some galvanized chargers. The Kensington Staffords Dundee Green makes for the perfect farmhouse spring look and adds such a special touch.

Here are some of my favorite places when shopping for spring home décor:

1. TJ Maxx & Marshals always a win! Rae Dunn (my favorite days to are Tuesday and Wednesday mornings). The thrill of the hunt is what I enjoy most! The wire baskets, the farmhouse linens….If you see it – you better grab it!

2. Tuesday Mornings – I sometimes forget about this place but I love it! They have a great floral selection with great prices. They also have the a great selection of seasonal décor like these cute bunnies I used for centerpieces.

3. Hobby Lobby – I love this store! And I love it when its 50%! Greenery, decorative easter eggs, and of course – the signs!! How do you chose?

4. Joanns Fabrics – I love their seasonal items and especially love these “Hello spring” pieces. They add so much color. Even better when everything is on sale!

5. Williams Sonoma – dish towels, oven mitts, potholders……I always love collecting them for all the seasons.
