The Carters Take on The Wild West Part 2

After a great night’s sleep at Snake River Lodge, we woke up ready for a day of adventure only minutes away from the awe-inspiring Grand Teton National Park.

The Grand Tetons greeted us with a display of God's beauty, unlike anything we had ever seen. Towering peaks, and pristine lakes, creating a picturesque landscape that seemed to unfold endlessly as we drove deeper into the park.

One of the highlights of our day was discovering the famous Mormon Row barn. This historic structure, with the majestic Tetons as its backdrop, made for a perfect photo opportunity. As we continued our drive, we were lucky enough to spot a few moose grazing in the distance.

Our adventure took us back into downtown Jackson, where we couldn’t resist taking a photo under the iconic Elk Antler Arches in the public square. It’s one of those must-do activities along with hundreds of other tourists.

For lunch, we headed to The Local, a popular spot known for its delicious food and just allowing us to relax and soak it all in.  I also couldn’t resist popping into the local TJ Maxx, which felt more like a movie set than a regular store.

Despite feeling a bit tired and still acclimating to the change in climate and altitude, the sheer beauty of the Grand Teton Mountains made every moment worthwhile. The dramatic landscapes and fresh mountain air was exactly what we needed!

As the day wound down, we stumbled upon a great pizza spot, Yeah Buddy. The pizza was as delicious as its name suggested.

What a day it was! From the stunning vistas of the Grand Tetons to the charming streets of Jackson, our journey continued to exceed our expectations. We can’t wait to see what new adventures await us!

Stay tuned for more updates from our incredible journey. The Carters are just getting started, and there's so much more to explore and share!
