The Carters Take on The Wild West Part 3

After a great night's sleep, we were up early and eager for a day filled with thrilling adventures. The Wild West was calling, and we were ready to answer!

We kicked off our morning with a ride on the iconic Jackson Hole Tram. This tram made us feel like we were on top of the world—literally! Starting at an elevation of 4,139 feet, we ascended to a breathtaking 10,455 feet in just 12 minutes. The 360-degree views of the Tetons were absolutely stunning, and the Teton Skywalk left us speechless. 

As we reached the summit, the weather dramatically changed. Snow began to pour, and the temperature plummeted into the 30s. The most jaw-dropping sight, though, was the double black diamond run. It's hard to fathom that skiers from all over the globe tackle this daunting slope and live to tell the tale.

We decided to keep our feet firmly planted and instead indulged in waffles and hot chocolate at Corbet's Cabin.

What a fantastic way to start our day!

Once we descended back to the base, we headed out for a full day at Grand Teton National Park. Our first adventure there was a boat ride across the serene Jenny Lake.

The rain couldn’t dampen our spirits; the scenery was gorgeous. As luck would have it, the sun emerged just in time for us to spot a moose wandering nearby.

After our boat ride, we made our way to Dornan's in Moose, WY for lunch. The food was great, and the locals were incredibly friendly. This charming stop was just what we needed to refuel for the rest of our day.

We returned to our hotel for a quick change before heading out for an evening stroll through Jackson.

Our final destination was the famous Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse for dinner. The meal was everything we had hoped for especially the steak!

Reflecting on the day, we realized it was filled with incredible experiences and breathtaking views. The mix of adventure, natural beauty, and local charm made it a truly unforgettable day in the Wild West. We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings on our Carters Adventure!
